Dana Koster and justin souza are two newlywed poets living (as of August 2009) in justin's family home in Modesto, California.Modesto is located in the Central Valley, the absurdly productive center of a state the advertisements would have you believe is all about leisure and beaches. While they are not often found at the beach, they're often found on justin's parents' almond and organic fruit & vegetable farm. Dana and justin cook, they write, they garden, they farm (part time), and they live.
They write about food, their adventures in cooking--an activity they only discovered a few years ago--poetry, pottery, very fondly of their time spent in Ithaca, New York, and the difficulties and successes of acclimating to a new (if reasonably familiar) environment.
Eat This House usually updates two to three times a week and features original photography from both Dana and justin shot (since February 2009) with a Canon Rebel XSi loaded with either a 28-55mm IS or a 50mm f1.8 lens.
