As official baker of our household (Justin is the official cook, though we dabble in both), I thought I'd post some photos of the delicious monstrosity that is our
Lemon Blueberry Tart. It was so buttery that the tart pan oozed butter grease after we removed the tart. It was so buttery that
you could have churned it back into a cow.

Dear Justin & Dana,
That piece of lemon blueberry tart you gave me a couple of hours ago? It was FREAKING AWESOME. Please feel free to make it again. Thank you.
Are you sure your arteries could take it?
Just for that we're going to bake another tart and make you eat the entire thing. You'll thank us later.
love the blog! and I love that you are using and buying Cold Spring Pottery. They are nice people, and their work is beautiful AND functional.!
enjoy the blueberries-------I'll be picking tomorrow evening and probably every few days until the season is over. I tried drying them last night in a 170 degree oven for 7 hours. Nice, juicy blueberry-raisins for scones and what not. My line-up for the next three sets of B&B guests is:
blueberry cobbler
blueberry-orange coffee cake
blueberry bread pudding
and of COURSE
blueberry buckle. oh wait, that's 4. oh well.
Dear Dana & Justin,
I Would love to have the recipe for your lemon bluebarry tart, it looks so GOOD!
It Would be better with blueberries from NY but will have to use what we can get.
