Bonus Pictures: 4th of July

Just a quick note and a couple of pictures today. We're in the middle of packing up everything we own in preparation for movers to cart it all away so posting might be sporadic the next couple of weeks but will return to a more reasonable schedule by the end of July.

Until then, we'll be doing smallish posts heavy on pictures and stories about our drive across the country.

Below, there are a few pictures of how we spent our 4th of July weekend. So, some fireworks, graveyard strawberries, a fantastic barbecue, and generally awesome times.

This may have been our last 4th of July living in Ithaca, but I think we gave it an admirable sendoff.

OMG, that fireworks photo is amazing. And... graveyard strawberries? That should totally be the title of Dana's first book of poetry.

Fabulous pics Justin and Dana! That one of Dana with raspberries in hand is amazing!

I guess this goes down in our books as our absolute favorite 4th of July ever. Thanks for bringin' the blow-up-explodin' stuff to our house! I am still finding parts to rockets all over the place.

It was indeed an awesome 4th. Love the look on D's face in that photo. And I agree with Eisha that "Graveyard Strawberries" should be the title...

Haha, well, if I didn't already have a title in mind, I'd go for "graveyard strawberries." How's about I just try to write a poem with that phrase in it?
